Reusable co-founder Nick Fitzsimons will host a workshop and popup shop of environmentally-friendly products at Almar Organics on Saturday.
Together with Michael Reid, Mr Fitzsimons launched Border-based company Reusable during June.
He said they were motivated by the growth in single-use plastic water bottles to supply businesses with alternative products.
“We wanted to make reusable products available to everyone at an affordable price; you begin to question the environmental tag when it’s not attainable,” he said.
Mr Fitzsimons said people who wanted to reduce their impact on the planet could try to buy plastic-free produce.
“It literally starts with just one thing,” he said.
Reusable will offer 17 products – such as stainless steel straws, stainless steel clothes pegs and environmentally-friendly cocktail straws – at the popup shop.
It runs 9am to noon.
