In a dramatic improvement from last year, the 11-member lineup came home behind Canberra side Telopea Park.
Lara Meagher, Billy Hilton, Riley O’Sullivan, Will Burke, Charmaine Murtagh, Charlotte Broad, Chloe Knight, Lila Copperwait, Sophia Oliver, Sidney Harrison and Felix Clark represented the school.
Coach Cameron Meagher and teacher Margaret Brown took the side to Sydney.
“They all played very well and had great fun,” Meagher said.
St Patrick’s played six matches during the cup.
With the Sportspower tournament set down for Wangaratta on Sunday cancelled, the next event will be at Albury on December 2.
Albury will also host the next instalment on the North East Veterans calendar that day.
THE pick of Tuesday ladies action was the section two encounter between Taggart and Sheil.
Sue Harper, Lynn Alymore, Sam Taggart and Trish Gallagher combined brilliantly in the final two rubbers to grab a two game victory for Taggart with Denise Sheil best for her team.
The second match saw a one-sided affair with McInerney accounting for Quirk.
In section one, honours were even before Martin pulled away in the final two rubbers to manufacture the win over Rouvray.
Three sets from Sally Bulle proved pivotal in her teams’ 4 sets to 2 salute over Reddy in another excellent tussle.
Chris Essex was the standout on court in Wurtz’ win over Spencer.
McHarg had the jump on Huckstepp from the outset in their section three clash.
Cecily McHarg and Carol Finlayson remained unbeaten with Jo Taylor battling hard for Huckstepp.
Jones lost the first set before their morning campaign kicked into gear, going onto triumph in straight forward fashion over Connelly.
