With Koschitzke last pulling on a boot against Calder Cannons at Albury Sportsground on August 5, the All-Australian reckons he has mulled over every possible scenario about his future.
While he’s buoyed by the fact that 15 clubs have been in touch, the 195-centimetre backman says a lot can change in three months.
He had femoroacetabular impingement surgery on his hip in September and went for his first run this week.
“I’ve tried not to think about the draft, but it’s hard, particularly as I haven’t played for such a long time,” Koschitzke said.
“It’s a little nerve-racking.
“At the moment I’m pretty chilled, but I reckon I’ll get a bit more nervous in the lead-up.
“Thursday I’ll be pretty highly strung waiting for Friday to come around.”

Koschitzke was given a positive report by his surgeon in Melbourne on Monday and estimates he’s four to six weeks ahead of schedule.
He’s just hoping the extended time spent on the sidelines doesn’t come back to bite him.
“You get a bit more nervous because you don’t really get a late opportunity to leave a lasting impression prior to the combine and the draft like a lot of others do,” he said.
“Some others get the opportunity to bolt up the board, while I could slide a little.”
Koschitzke played 11 matches for the Murray Bushrangers and four for the Allies this year, with the Albury youngster named at full-back in the All Australian side.
He held top-10 draft prospect Ben King to one goal during the national championships.
“I’d love to get a chance,” he said.
“I’m not fazed where I go, I just want a chance.”
