Only three months after taking on the role with Andrew Wilson, Walker has cited work and family commitments for his decision.
Wilson, who has been an assistant-coach for six seasons at Jindera, will take over the position by himself.
The Bulldogs will be looking to strengthen their list in coming weeks with Trent Castles (Yackandandah), Ben Dower (Mitta United), Dylan Pettingill and Connor Clayton (Lavington) and Danny Middleton and Will King (Labrador) departing since this year’s grand final.
Former player Simon Cossor has taken over as president of Jindera.
In other signings, James O'Connell has been cleared from Billabong Crows to Corowa-Rutherglen, Wahgunyah coach Sam Burdon has returned to CDHBU and Murray Magpie Michael Sims has joined Bullioh.
Meanwhile, the Hume league is set to finalise its 2019 draw at a board meeting on Wednesday night.
