Taylor-Nugent has spent the past five years at Bunton Park and is set to add another dimension to the reigning premier’s attack.
The 26-year-old had also been linked to Lavington in recent weeks.
Albury coach Peter German is confident the former Jerilderie premiership player will make an impression at Albury Sportsground.
“I’ve done a lot of background on him and spoken to a lot of people, including our boys, and everything pointed to a really good guy who’s been a good player for a while now,” German said.
“He’s played inter-league and has good running ability.
“He should be able to fit into our side and style of play really well.
“He’s got to a point where he was looking for something different and we were able to give him that point of difference.”

Taylor-Nugent will miss the opening two rounds of the season after being outed for five matches late last season for striking Wodonga’s Daniel Wortmann.
His exit from North Albury is another blow for the Hoppers who have now lost arguably their best three players in Daniel Leslie, Chris Schmidt and Taylor-Nugent.
Albury has also welcomed former player Cooper Page back to the club.
He played for Altona in the Western Region Football League this year and lined up against former Tiger and Caroline Springs star Josh Mellington in one match.
“He’s going to be great for us,” German said.
“He’s been playing well in Melbourne.”
Brock-Burrum’s Eddy Ziebarth has also signed with Albury.
Daniel Cross, Charlie Gaylard, Michael Thompson, Mat Walker and Rhys King have departed the club.
