BEER and brioche are in the pipeline for the Great Australian Beer Festival in Albury on Saturday.
Geoffrey Michael Patissier will join Bridge Road Brewers on a special masterclass.
Geoffrey will offer a Brioche Porter Doughnut (chocolate custard, coffee cream and chocolate crisp) matched to Bridge Road Brewers porter.
For Bridge Road Brewers’ Magical Christmas Unicorn brew, Geoffrey will offer The Magic Doughnut (toasted waffle chantilly, caramel custard and caramel crisp).
Great Australian Beer Festival co-director Michael Ward said there would be four beer masterclasses.
“Geoffrey Michael has come up with something really special,” he said.
Melbourne’s Hawkers Beer will match brews with Monumental Ice cream.
The masterclasses are free on a first-come, first-served basis.
Beer and Doughnuts masterclass runs 3.30pm-4.15pm while Beer and Ice Cream runs 4.45pm-5.30pm.
The festival runs 1pm to 8pm in QEII Square.
