THE Border’s newest mobile coffee and catering company The Ape Albury shares the recipe for its popular Chocolate Hazelnut Brownies.
Owners Erik and Susan Radoicic launched their business about eight weeks ago.
Chocolate Hazelnut Brownies
- 140g dark chocolate
- 225g butter
- 5 eggs
- 450g caster sugar
- 110g plain flour
- 55g cocoa
- 4tbsp Nutella
- 1/2 cup hazelnuts
Preheat oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
Melt butter and chocolate in a saucepan.
In a separate bowl mix sugar, flour and cocoa.
Stir in melted butter mix and eggs, then pour into a lined baking tray (measuring 25 centimetres × 30 centimetres)
Dollop Nutella evenly over the top and sprinkle with hazelnuts.
Bake in oven at 170 degrees Celsius for between 40 and 50 minutes.
