In the spirit of the 12 Days of Christmas, they have provided the following tips:
- Stick to your budget
- Set boundaries
- Don’t shop ‘til you drop – avoid crowds and stress
- Avoid the pressure cooker feeling of stress building up by sharing the load
- Manage your expectations – Christmas is just ‘one day. Prepare and plan ahead
- Everything in moderation
- Get out and about – continue to exercise
- Don’t overdo it – take time out to rest and relax
- Don’t be a stranger: keep in contact with friends and reach out if you feel down or need help
- Reflect on the year just gone and look forward to the new year
- Pay it forward (volunteer for others)
