A man accused of exposing himself to people outside the Wangaratta Courthouse will fight the charges in court, despite 11 people saying they witnessed him do it.

Magistrate Fran Medina reminded him he would receive a discount if he pleaded early, as evidence from a police officer who saw the alleged indecent assault “will carry considerable weight before a court”.
Solicitor Nancy Battiato acknowledged the police had a strong case.
“He denies he exposed himself to the people at the court that day,” she said.
“There is a police officer who will say he did see my client expose himself, so that’s a fairly strong issue.”
She said Kerr told her that if the allegations were true, the police would have arrested him on the spot.
Police prosecutor Leading Senior Constable Heath Dosser said Kerr was arrested later that day and interviewed at Wangaratta Police Station.
The hearing will take place on February 28.
