A living expression of the charisms of the Mercy Sisters and Christian Brothers, Xavier High School continues the long and proud tradition of Catholic Education in Albury as a faith filled community which holds high expectations of its students and families to work in partnership with teachers to support student learning across our three pillars of learning - Faith, Academia and Wellbeing.

“At Xavier we put learning first,” principal Gavin Dykes said.

“The partnership between school and parents is valued and nourished to ensure each student is challenged to find success in all three pillars of learning.

“These pillars encourage our students by developing and fostering their learning in all areas of their lives, encouraging our students to be their best selves, striving for success in all that they do and preparing them for life beyond high school.

“We aim to ensure our students are immersed in experiences that enrich their learning and develop the skills necessary for further education, employment and being active citizens in our communities. We pride ourselves in providing a technology rich learning environment designed to prepare our students for the modern world.”

Supported by a rich and engaging co-curricular program, students are challenged to immerse themselves in authentic and meaningful learning experiences preparing them for life beyond Xavier High School.
