After starting out with one team in 2015-16, Albury Umpires now field two sides with 56 registered players on its books.
Club secretary Roger Lescun put the growth down to the relaxed atmosphere of C grade division three.
“We thought about fielding three sides this season but opted to consolidate with two,” Lescun said.
“Our numbers have been really good with a lot of players having a game when it suits them.
“I think our players like the competitive side of it but at the same time they can enjoy themselves as well.”
Albury Umpires have about 15 football umpires playing including AUL stalwarts Mick McMaster and Stuart Larcombe.
The club plays home matches at Noreuil Park.
Albury Umpires White are second on the premiership table with Albury Umpires Blue sixth.
The sides vary in ages with 11-year-old Noah Orchard recently claiming 4-0 off 2.1 overs against Dederang.
