Art Speaks
Plastic Palace, MAMA Albury, every day, free
A new building has sprouted in Albury’s QEII Square, one that combines architecture, art and a tangible message about rubbish. Plastic Palace is a six metre tall installation made from 20 tonnes of plastic collected over four weeks at the Albury Waste Management Centre. Created by architect Raffaello Rosselli, the artwork presents a neat house-like exterior but within there are layers and layers of plastic bales bound together. “Once you are inside you really see the gravity of the amount of plastic waste that we're producing.” Raffaello Rosselli

Christmas Lights
Tour the Border’s Christmas lights by sharing our map at bordermail.com.au
Now that we’re in the last week before Christmas, it’s totally fine to hum “Silent Night”, shout “Jingle Bells” and exclaim “Hark the Herald Angels Sing ...” especially if you are driving the family around in the car. Yes, the Christmas light season is upon us. With your help, The Border Mail has created a map of the must-stops for light-looking lovers.
