Mr Pandit went missing from waist-deep water in the Murray River just before 7pm on Wednesday.
Emergency crews have returned to the Murray River on Thursday morning in Albury to search for the 21-year-old who failed to resurface near the Noreuil Park boat ramp late Wednesday afternoon.
The RMS boat was joined by police divers and the Albury and Border Rescue Squad on Thursday morning.
Albury and Border Rescue advise to avoid swimming in the area between Noreuil Park and the boat ramp.
Emergency crews returned to the Murray River on Thursday morning after a man went missing on Wednesday afternoon.
A search operation was suspended about 9.30pm on Wednesday and the man has not been seen overnight.
