Clinton Thomas Boswell, 38, is accused of shooting the victim at a Hicks Place home on Saturday afternoon.
Bonegilla man Stephen William Evans, 44, has been charged with being an accessory after the fact.
Matthew John Groves has also been charged with acting in company with Boswell.
Boswell’s matter was briefly heard in court on Thursday after he handed himself into police a day earlier.
He is facing charges of possessing a loaded silver pistol used in the shooting.
The Wodonga man – who had his Warwick Street home raided on Wednesday – is accused of shooting the victim, causing grievous bodily harm.
He has also been charged with possessing a different gun which was shortened.
The former Berrigan resident did not apply for bail on Thursday.
Evans also decided not to apply for bail.
He is facing charges of possessing a black replica pistol in a holder and having ammunition.
It’s alleged he lied to police about transporting the other two men to and from the shooting scene.
Evans allegedly dropped off Groves at his Prune Street home following the shooting, which led police to cordon off the area.
They had asked Groves to peacefully surrender without incident.
The victim was shot through his left hand and the bullet lodged in his left thigh.
He checked himself out of hospital against the advice of medical staff.
