Lake Hume (37%) - is dropping steadily but still has lots of water for those fish to get lost in.

We’re getting lots of stories of smaller reddies mixed in with a few keepers with worms, yabbies and shrimp all being good baits
There’s plenty of reddies and the odd yella is also being spun on blades or being caught on Jaggers too.
But remember, if you can catch a little reddie and slip him over the side, you can just about guarantee a decent keeper.
Murray Cod - have been a bit patchy again this week with water flows again playing havoc
If you can strike the river after it’s had time to settle for a day or so they’ve been great, but if you happen to hit them while it’s just copped a rise or fall you might struggle.
Mulwala’s been pretty good too according to most reports which means it could be well worth a visit.
Lots of fishos have been giving it a crack with surface lures at night too, and that could be the way to go with the heat that’s predicted for this week.
Wyangla (41%) - is a bit of a trip, but the cod have been pretty good up that way if you’re looking for a bit of new country to fish. Nothing like a change of scenery.
Methods are pretty much the same as we use here and I’ve heard of some great fish from there of late, so might be worth the time and effort.
Anyhow, hope you can get out this weekend or during the week and catch one or two.
