The 35-year-old was targeted by two people outside Public House on Dean Street about 10.30pm on Sunday.
Five people in a red Toyota Corolla – which had earlier been involved in a dangerous car chase at Holbrook – pulled up near the vehicle.
Two got out of the car and threatened the woman with the weapons.
She handed over her handbag and a witness chased after the vehicle as it sped away.
The car again stopped near the intersection of Olive and Smollett streets and two 17-year-old girls were targeted.
One of the teenagers handed over her bag.
Detective Inspector Winston Woodward said the car had not been recovered and police were seeking witnesses to the armed robberies.
“It’s stressful for anybody in that situation,” he said of the victims.
“I’m just glad that nobody was seriously injured during both of these.
“We will investigate fully.”
