When she’s not showcasing her skill on the court, she’s making a name for herself as a talented singer.
Sienna, 12, has spent the week on the Border for the Australian Junior Country Basketball Cup with the South Australia Sharks in the under-14 girls competition, where she had the honour of performing the national anthem with her older sister, Ella, 16, at Monday’s opening ceremony.
As soon as the tournament is finished, Sienna and Ella will make the trip north to perform at the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Sienna admitted it was a little nerve-wracking singing in front of a huge crowd at the start of the week, but she’s loved every minute.
“This is the first year I could play in the Country Cup, I’ve been wanting to do it for a while,” Sienna said.
“I’ve been playing basketball for about four years.
“It’s absolutely amazing, it’s very full-on, but it’s awesome.
“It’s been a very competitive week and we’re undefeated so far.”

The Adelaide Hills sisters have been in vocal lessons for three years, but have been singing together their whole lives.
It will be a new experience heading to Tamworth, but one they’re both very excited for.
“We’ll join the busking scene, which will be really good,” Ella said.
“There’s heaps of performers that go up there every year, so we’ll just check it out and see what it’s like.
“We’re going to see some shows as well with the big artists like Kasey Chambers, which we’re really excited about.”
Ella admitted Sienna is the basketball star of the family, but is happy they’ve been able to combine it with singing on this trip.
“She’s in quite a few teams over there, all the district teams and everything and she joined this one to come over and play against people from all the different states,” Ella said.
“We definitely want to keep going with it, we’re always balancing the basketball with the singing.
“We mostly do covers at the moment, but we’re working on a couple of originals we’ll hopefully get out there soon.
“Back home we’ve done functions like birthdays and weddings and we’ve played at open gardens.
“We also had an awesome opportunity to sing on the local Adelaide ABC radio, which was part of the Winter City Sounds Festival in Adelaide.
“The one we sung on the radio was a Jewel song, but at the moment we’ve been looking at our country songs because we’re going to the Tamworth Country Music Festival.”
The Sharks started the week with a massive 88-18 victory against Tasmania on Monday.
A hard-fought 61-58 triumph followed against New Zealand Weka on Tuesday morning, before going on to beat the South Australia Wombats, 46-20.
