A North East man was arrested on Wednesday, in relation to a break-in a Rutherglen’s Silver Key cafe.

The Main Street cafe, which only reopened in November after fire gutted the shop in 2017, was broken into at 3.34am Saturday.

Owners Frank and Dawn Leahy took to Facebook to share CCTV images of a middle-aged man, wearing a black hoodie and a shirt with a partially hidden slogan that included the word ‘raw’.
On Wednesday, the owners again took to social media, this time to thank police.
