Only a week after making 92, I’Anson hit 109 as the home team came agonisingly close to reeling in Osborne’s 9-204.
Burrumbuttock needed four off the final over but could only manage two against left-armer Dane Fuller.
I’Anson, 21, said he was encouraged by the performance.
“It would have been nice to get there but we have a lot of young blokes in the side,” I’Anson said.
“We weren’t far off.”
I’Anson, who was dismissed in the second last over, received support from opener Dave Williams (41) and Keith Tallent (27) as the Swans made 6-202.
Rand upset Holbrook by 32 runs.
Pigeon Mark Kreutzberger set up the win with 70 while Will Heriot topscored for Holbrook with 38.
Kreutzberger capped off a man-of-the-match performance by grabbing 2-12.
Walla skipper Tom Simmons scored 106 in the Hoppers’ big win over Henty.
Simmons helped Walla put 6-202 on the board with Chris Spicer (24) and Kyle Dickson (18) the only batsmen to reach double figures in Henty’s run chase.
Lockhart caused the surprise of the round by defeating Walbundrie.
With the Tigers missing several key players, the Demons took full advantage with Brad McMillan (63 not out) playing a starring role.
Culcairn posted a crucial win by defeating TRYC.
