Fourteen children aged between nine and 12 years are taking part in school holiday drama workshops being led by Border-based actor Kyle Walmsley at the Albury Wodonga Theatre Company building in South Albury.
Walmsley said the young actors would develop a performance for their families and friends on Wednesday.
“Actually getting them to use their ideas to create the show, use their individual personalities, skills and quirks,” he said.
“You just really never know what is going to come out.”
IN OTHER NEWS:
Monday’s first workshop included introductory games, improvisations and super villainous themes.
“Working out where everyone sits, some people are hard core thespians in the group, some people are kind of fresh to it all,” Walmsley said.
“They’ve all been working awesomely so far, like a dream team, really.”
Jack Rahaley, 11, of Lavington, loved the challenge.
“We’ve been getting on the stage and getting a feel for things and really getting into characters,” he said.
