There are concerns Mr Pandit’s body will never be found.
Wednesday will mark four weeks since the 21-year-old went underwater while with friends at Noreuil Park, leading to a lengthy search operation.
Members of the Albury and Border Rescue Squad returned to the Murray River on Sunday but again failed to find Mr Pandit.
They had searched the area using a boat.
Tributes were placed on the banks of the river at Noreuil Park after the 21-year-old went missing on January 9.
The Nepalese man had been in the area to study accounting at Charles Sturt University.
He was living at Thurgoona and was also working at Guru's Star Cafe and Restaurant on Dean Street.
According to Royal Life Saving Australia, there have been 86 drownings nationwide this summer.
There had only been 55 drownings at this time last year.
Two have occurred in the North East this year.
His body was found a short time later.
