Emergency workers were called to the intersection of Hawkins and Sturt streets on Wednesday.
A truck and car collided about 3pm.
A mother and her son had reportedly been trapped in their car.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said four paramedics crews had attended the scene.
IN OTHER NEWS:
“We had a four-year-old boy with possible head injuries, cuts to his forehead and swelling,” the spokesman said.
“He’s in a serious condition.
“He’s being taken to Albury hospital.”
The boy’s mother, 31, had a cut to her head and paramedics had concerns about possible spinal injuries.
She was also transported to Albury hospital by paramedics.
The truck driver was unhurt.
Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
