A group of Richmond players will travel to the Border for a two-day community camp later this month.

While in town, the players will visit several primary schools, junior football clubs, the Albury-Wodonga Aboriginal Health Service and hold an open training session at John Flower Oval for fans to attend on Tuesday, February 26.
The area is significant to Richmond with the club’s Next Generation Academy now established on the Border and across the wider region.

Richmond then heads to Shepparton for their opening match of the JLT Community Series against Melbourne at Deakin Reserve on Sunday, March 3.
“It’s always exciting for our players to visit regional areas, and interact with Richmond fans who may not have as many opportunities to see us throughout the year,” Richmond CEO Brendon Gale said.
