City Colts and Yarrawonga-Mulwala shouldn’t be moved from the top-two, however, only nine points separates Ovens Valley United in third right down to Beechworth in seventh.
It makes the clash between Benalla Bushrangers (fourth) and Wangaratta Magpies (fifth) a crucial one on Saturday and Sunday.
“It’s under half a game between third and sixth,” Magpies’ captain Zac Guilfoyle said.
“I think the fixture in a way has almost been set up that we’ve all got play each other in the last few games of the year.”

In other matches, Yarrawonga-Mulwala hosts Rovers United-Bruck, City Colts take on Ovens Valley United, Greta can move off the bottom with victory against Delatite, while Beechworth has the bye.
