Borella made an unbeaten 104 from only 73 deliveries, including 10 boundaries and a stunning seven sixes at the tiny Scots School ground.
“It’s definitely a relief any day you make a big score, it’s definitely up there with one of the better ones in the situation,” he said.
The representative batsman had scored only one half-century (66) at 50-over level.
East Albury was dismissed for 146 from 41.3 overs, with number seven Sean Barrett making an unbeaten 36.
Opening bowler Mitch Koschitzke claimed 4-18 from 10 miserly overs.
