Of the 178 scheduled services in January only 87.6 per cent were delivered, with 22 trains cancelled completely.

A V/Line spokeswoman said more work was to be done to meet performance targets.
“We would like to thank our passengers on the Albury line for their patience as we delivered services during the hottest January on record,” she said.
“We understand there is more work to do to meet our performance targets, and we look forward to work starting on the planned North East Line Upgrade, which will improve punctuality for V/Line passenger services.”
