The recently signed off deal between Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles Australia and Milspec will be officially announced today.
The contract involves a total renewal of defence fleet vehicles with Milspec to play a part in replacing aging medium and heavy trucks and trailers.
Milspec, located in North Albury, will supply critical parts to the replacement vehicles.
Last year, Milspec was engaged with Rheinmetall to supply components for the Australian Defence Force's LAND 400 combat reconnaissance vehicles.
Farrer MP Sussan Ley will make the announcement on the latest contract for Milspec which presently employs around 90 people.
The company has a research and development section in addition to its manufacturing facility.
Milspec also supports the ADF through Thales Australia with the provision of electronic and electrical components for the Bushmaster fleet of vehicles.

Last year the federal government announced the creation of 1400-plus jobs through the purchase of a fleet of new combat reconnaissance vehicles for the ADF to be built by German contractor, Rheinmetall.
They will provide improved safety to Australian soldiers on deployment and on exercises around the world.
The government also committed to spending $22.5 million to upgrade facilities at Bandiana to cater for the new vehicles with Milspec among 40 companies in Australia chosen for the work.
Milspec is owned and operated by David and Wendy Cooper and began in 2002.
