The Border and North East region is a special place when it comes to supporting its own.
You won't see a better example of that than this morning when thousands of people will put on their joggers and run - or in my case walk - across the Lincoln Causeway for the City2City.
Now in its fifth year, the City2City raises much-needed funds for Albury Wodonga Health, with this year's focus on life-saving ultrasound equipment for critical care services.
We're in a unique position in Albury-Wodonga with our cross-border health service and we can all feel a sense of pride that today's event will help support a crucial service that supports us.
Last year's City2City raised more than $107,000 and with up to 5000 entrants expected today, fingers crossed we can top that figure this time around.
It's going to be a warm one, so stretch up, drink up and look up for the tall guy carrying a testy two-year-old across the causeway - I'll need your support.
In the meantime, catch up on some of what’s been happening in the past week in the links below.
