Kiewa amassed a daunting 4-235 from its 45 overs with Josh and Jason Bartel sharing an unbeaten 92-run stand for the fifth wicket.
Mt Beauty fell to 3-75, but Ranaweera and Ross Wilson destroyed the home team with a 164-run stand.
“It’s a really good wicket there at Kiewa and the ground’s super fast, you get value for shots,” Mt Beauty captain Al Randell said.
“That was the highest score that we had to chase all year, any score over 200 is a good one.”
The Power’s win was even more meritorious given it was missing bowlers Jake Styles, Daniel Saville and Nick Iaria.
“We had to chuck the ball around a bit and blokes bowled that don’t normally,” Randell said.
In just his fifth game of the season, Josh Bartel nabbed his first half-century, remaining unbeaten on 63, while Jason Bartel was 62.
But the class of Ranaweera and Wilson saw the visitors home in only 42 overs.
Ranaweera finished 102 not out, with 12 boundaries, while Wilson was undefeated on 90.
Elsewhere, Dederang hammered Barnawartha-Chiltern.
Dederang skittled the home team for just 82 from 35 overs.
Caleb Boxall top-scored with a patient 29 from 53 balls, striking just the one boundary.
The Demons crushed the Miners with openers Nick Hynes and Andrew Creamer unbeaten.
The latter was 30 not out and leads the association with 647 runs at 54, while Hynes was 42 not out.
Corowa’s Daniel Athanitis proved the difference in the club’s 38-run win over Eskdale.
Athanitis opened the bowling and top-scored with 36 in the total of 121 from 33.1 overs.
He then snared 4-8 as the visitors collapsed for 83.
Yackandandah proved too strong for Howlong.
The visitors scored 7-193 with Howlong’s Paul Irvine claiming 3-23.
The home team’s Aaron Hoskin put his team in the hunt with 62, but the side couldn’t reel in the target and was dismissed for 171.
And in the final game, ladder leaders Baranduda blasted bottom Bethanga.
The home outfit produced a sound innings in scoring 8-145, but openers Alec Mouncey (80 not out) and Luke Bartley (53no) cruised to victory off only 22.1 overs.
Bartley was also unbeaten with a half-century in last week’s nine-wicket win over Eskdale.
There’s only two games left at district level.
