The program is run by Richmond Football Club and Swinburne University of Technology to develop leaders within the sports industry.
A total of 26 recent high school graduates are enrolled in the course.
RISL Wodonga teacher Jess Harris said it's about giving the students an opportunity like no other.
"We really want this course to be a 'braggable' course, every week we're going to have something they can go home and brag to their friends about," Harris said.
"Whether it's Lauren Jackson coming on board as an ambassador or working behind the scenes at the Anzac Day Eve match as a member of the Richmond staff.
"We want it to be like no other course and we want them to be out of the classroom as much as possible.
"It's something that no other education course offers and we want it to be a real stepping stone into the area of sport they choose."
All students will have access to Richmond Football Club and Swinburne University facilities, as well as receiving an Aligned Leisure membership.
