Part one of the launch will be staged on Friday at Wodonga's Kelly Park from 5pm to 7pm, with various inflatable soccer activities in operation.
Wodonga Heart, Wodonga Diamonds and Twin City Wanderers will have marquees set up and information available on registrations for the upcoming season.
The launch continues for all Albury and Wodonga clubs at QEII Square in Albury from 10am to 2pm on Saturday.
AWFA president Mark Leman said the launch will be the first of its kind for the association.
Other AWFA news:
"Basically from an association point-of-view, we're taking the association to the community instead of the community coming to us," he said.
"It's more to promote our brand to the community.
"I don't think a lot of people know who we are and what we do, so we thought it was time for us to start letting people know who our clubs are, what their colours are, what the clubs do and how they help the community be engaged in sport.
"There's options for people to get involved as a volunteer or from a fitness and lifestyle point-of-view as well.
"The association hasn't done anything like this before, but I think we've got to try something."
AWFA's season fixtures are expected to be released by early next week.
