Only a week after having just "six or seven players", co-coaches Ash Greenhill and Ben McCarthy have secured enough signatures to ensure the Magpies field a senior side.
The plan to continue was ratified by Border-Walwa's committee on Thursday night.
"It wasn't looking too good last week," McCarthy said.
"We were pretty desperate with only six or seven committed players from last year, but we've got 20 to 25 now and trying to get more.
"We've been making plenty of phone calls."

McCarthy said Border-Walwa had managed to sign a combination of present and new players after word spread about the Magpies' plight.
Remarkably, the club hasn't given up total hope of fielding a reserve grade side.
"Ash has been at the club for a lot longer than I have and neither of us wanted it to go under," he said.
"I've been at the club for the past three or four seasons and Border-Walwa is easily the best club I've played for.
"We would have hated for it to go under."
Club president Richard Hulme said Greenhill and McCarthy had worked tirelessly on recruiting since being appointed co-coaches last week.
"It's a big thing for the community," Hulme said.
"We still need to do a lot of work including finding a few more under-14 players but it's a big step in the right direction."
