Dennis France, David Pye, Guy Corbett and Ella Corbett encountered issues before they'd even arrived in Bright for the start of the event, spending more than an hour on the side of the road the night before, a bike in bits.
But after some last minute fixes the quartet, and 50 other riders, arrived in Albury safe and sound after their first official day on the adventure.

The ride has already raised more than $60,000 for the Albury Wodonga Cancer Centre Trust Fund which will be used to employ a prostate cancer research nurse who can administer trials.
Border Medical Oncology Research's Fiona Tuthill said the appointment will give more patients a chance to participate in clinical trials.
