Ms McPherson dominated the online Fashion Star poll, beating her closest competition by nearly 100 votes.
"I'm so excited, I've already bought a fascinator (for Randwick)," she said.
"I love racing, I grew up on a harness racing stud so I love horses and love going to the races - I follow jockeys and trainers."
