The matters of Adam Dennis Coats and Heath Kevin Parkinson were briefly mentioned in Albury Local Court on Tuesday.
Christopher Quirk died at Corowa in March last year after allegedly being stabbed and hit with a baseball bat.
Coats and Parkinson remain in custody, and much of Tuesday’s hearing was administrative.
The pair will next appear before court on April 2.
