The Poll Dorset stud breeders made the trek to Canberra with 18 sheep and won a ribbon in each category they contested.
Some of the categories included Champion and Reserve Champion ram, Champion Ewe and the Group of 1 Ram and 2 Ewes in the White Suffolk section as well as Reserve Champion Ewe in the Poll Dorset's section.
But winning the champion ram was easily the highlight for stud owner, Doug Mitchell.
"To get the champion ram was something we were very proud of," Mr Mitchell said.
"We had a particularly strong result with our White Suffolk's, winning every class we entered.
"Our Poll Dorset's won their fair share and were well and truly up there in the other categories.
"All of those sheep will now go on to the other big shows in the industry.
"There is the NSW Dorset Championships held in Cowra and also the Sheep and Wool Show at Bendigo which is the largest show in the southern hemisphere for all sheep.
"This is what we consider as our early show and we get a good gauge of how we compare to other breeders, the potential of your sheep and areas you can improve."
