The Panthers scored a 64-49 victory against Howlong at home, with Max Scanlan's rink setting up the result with a 35-11 triumph against Ian Doolan.
Adrian Pantling's side held off John Dawson's quartet, 20-15, while the Spiders secured a point through a 23-9 win for Phil Slater against Klive Liverton.
Henty continues to hold down second spot after seeing off Holbrook, 67-58, at Holbrook.
Kerry Boyle was a 28-17 winner against Chris Heather, Glenn Harrison defeated Wolfgang Kaletta 25-18, while Gavin Jones got a point for the hosts with a 23-14 result against Peter Forck.
North Albury's run of form continued with a 74-45 salute away to Culcairn.
Stephen Broad's men defeated Terry Hensel's in-form rink, 27-16, Duane Crow's side had a 27-15 win against Jim Lee, while Norm Honey made it a clean sweep with a 20-14 win against Dave Trebley.

In the grade four, Henty (29) kept its finals chances alive with a 66-48 victory over Commercial (42.5), but North Albury (38) still clings to third spot after its 71-54 against a determined Rand (2) outfit, Lavington (48.5) had the bye.
Walla (40.5) all but sealed its place in the grade five finals with a 71-58 triumph against leaders Commercial (58), Oaklands (51) closed the gap to top with a 71-49 salute at Howlong (22), while North Albury (49) was far too good for Culcairn (19.5), winning 94-36, to stay in third spot.
Grade six saw a 54-all draw between leaders North Albury (50) and Commercial (33), while Holbrook (25) beat Lavington (32), 64-47, to stay in the hunt for a grand final berth.
North Albury (48.5) will meet Urana (49) in the grade seven grand final after beating them 70-50 on Saturday, while Henty's (26.5) 60-all draw with Walla (16) ended its finals chances.
