McMillan smashed long-time representative paceman Cameron White for six on the second-last ball.
"Lachie had been feeling crook, so he slid down the order to number nine," captain Zac Simmonds said.
"He hit the ball over cover, it was a great shot."
McMillan only recently hit his first six after debuting in 2016-17.
The Crows set the Eagles a formidable total of 260, albeit on the small ground at Scots School.
However, a target of more than five runs per over is a challenging prospect.
"To knock off 260 is a really good confidence boost before finals because you're never out of the contest," Simmonds said.
Belvoir and St Patrick's return to finals after a one and two-year absence respectively, with the Crows and New City falling out.
