The Regional Services, Sport, Local Government and Decentralisation Minister will speak on the subject of "Connecting the regions; it’s in the national interest".
The National Press Club stated Senator McKenzie was expected to make significant announcements for regional Australia.
ABC radio presenter and National Press Club president Sabra Lane said she was delighted the event would be "on location" in Wodonga, learning first-hand about matters important to regional Australia.
The address will be broadcast on ABC television from 12.30pm on Wednesday.
