A man allegedly on ice who rammed a parked car where a mother was breastfeeding her baby could have caused "catastrophic" consequences, a court has heard.

Luke Rossitto, 37, was refused bail in Wangaratta Magistrates Court on Thursday after police argued he was a risk to the public and police who tried to stop him offending.
Police stationed at Boralma, north of Wangaratta, saw him allegedly overtake a truck and car, which were side-by-side on the Hume Freeway, by moving into the emergency lane close to wire-rope barriers.
It was estimated Rossitto was travelling at 150km/h before stopping at the southbound BP service station for petrol.
When police blocked the exits with their vehicles, he allegedly tried to ram his way through, damaging both police and civilian cars.
A mother was breastfeeding her four-month-old son while sitting in the passenger seat of her parked car, with a two-year-old daughter in the back seat, when the car shook as it was hit by the Lexus.
Senior Constable Melinda Stewart told the court the mother said it was "scary and surreal".
"It could have been catastrophic if the airbag had gone off with the baby in the front," she said.
Rossitto was arrested at a Kilfeera Road property, where he had asked the owner to order him an Uber back to Melbourne.
He allegedly had one gram of methamphetamine and three Viagra tablets in his pocket, and tested positive to using methamphetamine.
Solicitor Nancy Battiato said Rossitto "concedes it was obviously him, he was there on the day", but he would contest the main charge of conduct placing a person in danger of death.
He faces about 20 drug and driving charges in total.
The case was adjourned for another month for police to obtain video footage of the alleged driving at the Glenrowan service station.
