A vehicle was used to reverse through a bollard and glass panels at the Shell on the coroner of Urana and Adams streets about 2.30am on Thursday.
A cigarette cabinet appeared to have been pried open.
A staff member said the thieves, who had their faces covered and were wearing gloves, had caused significant damage to the building.
“I think there were maybe two or three of them,” she said.
“It’s frustrating, especially when they cause more in damage than what they take.”
Glass, a television, a part of the roof and a bollard were damaged by the vehicle.
It's the second time the business has been targeted in a ram raid in about 12 months.
The service station remained closed early on Thursday ahead of crime scene officers attending.
