The boys, 15 and 17, are on aggravated burglary and attempted theft of a motor vehicle counts.
Home owner Narelle Robinson, who was roused from her sleep by the incident, said police told her of the charges yesterday and said the teens were on bail.
She said she disappointed they had not been held in custody, saying she had lost her sense of security.
The pair is due to face court on Monday.
