POLICE are seeking help to track down a man who broke into a Wodonga business and stole tools, but had second thoughts and dumped them nearby. The Boral Concrete depot on Victoria Cross Parade was targeted multiple times between 2pm and 6pm on March 17. The property, worth about $1000, was recovered near the business the following day after being dumped. Detective Leading Senior Constable Ian Deverell said it was unclear why the property was abandoned, but said it was "unusual". "He's ransacked the place looking for items of value," he said. "It's definitely a targeted offence." The man entered the office through a window. Footage shows the man wearing gloves and a balaclava with a strapped left knee. Detective Leading Senior Constable Deverell said he hoped someone would recognise the offender. Call (02) 6049 2600 or 1800 333 000.
