The implementation of the NDIS in Albury and the Murray region has led to a jobs boom, with employment growing by 20.3 percent in the past year.

Data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics showed the Murray region, which includes Albury, had the strongest jobs growth in NSW in February.
Employment growth was slower in the Riverina at 4.5 per cent, but the region's unemployment rate was at a two year low of 4.3 per cent, the lowest it's been since December 2016.
The unemployment rate for the Murray region was 6.6 percent in February, remaining steady from January, but two point below the February 2018 rate of 8.8 per cent.
NSW Business Chamber regional manager for Murray and the Riverina Andrew Cotrill said health and allied industries were the strongest growing sector in Murray.
"This strong growth is largely driven by the National Disability Insurance Scheme implementation in Albury and across the Murray region," he said.
"Other sectors growing strongly are the wholesale trade, agriculture, transport and admin services."

About 9500 jobs have been created in the Murray in the past year.
Mr Cotrill said youth unemployment had dropped to 7.3 per cent in Murray while remaining slightly higher in the Riverina at 11.9 per cent.
"Most pleasing to see is the turnaround in youth unemployment in the Murray," Mr Cotrill said.
which has recovered remarkably from high 12 months ago of almost 24 per cent, when 1 in 4 young job seekers could not find a job."
Mr Cotrill said policy makers can't become complacent.
"We need to ensure employment rates remain strong in the region," he said.
"This means policy makers will need to continue their focus on jobs creation and infrastructure delivery in the region, greater focus on skills, a more competitive taxation system, and lowering the cost of energy would all contribute greatly to the sustainability of this growth."
