A TEENAGER has died after falling through the roof of a pub in Corowa.

Jack James, 18, had fallen through the roof of an atrium and was injured.
He was taken to Corowa Hospital and was later pronounced dead.
Police from the Albury region are investigating the incident.
The venue remained closed on Sunday, and the owners plan to reopen the hotel on Monday.
A sign on the door said the venue had been closed "due to unforeseen circumstances".

People have posted tributes to the late Corowa man on social media.
Kealie Jordan said the teenager had impacted many lives and said he was "the life of the party".
She said the 18-year-old had made a difference to many people.
"You impacted so many lives, especially mine," she said.
"My heart hurts and I still can't believe it.
"Thank you for every encouraging word, (you) will always be in my heart, love you and I will miss you."
Another described the teenager as "a wonderful, vibrant young man taken way too soon".
Friend Dion Ploegmakers said Mr James was a "gentle giant".
"Words can't describe how heartbreaking this is, you were always up for a big old hug whenever I saw you," he said.
"You had a heart that anyone could love, everyone will miss you and your cheeky sense of humour so much."
A statement released on the historic hotel's Facebook page described the death as "a tragic accident".
"All the staff, including Lis and Mike are greatly upset after the loss of a young, well loved, local man's life," the statement said.
"The hotel is in mourning and will be closed all day today and will re-open at 4pm Monday
"We would like to ask all the Royal Hotel friends here, to keep the grieving family in their thoughts and prayers during this terrible time."
The incident appeared to have occurred during a function at the venue.
Police attended the hotel and are investigating the incident.
The 18-year-old had attended Galen Catholic College.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
