A probationary driver accelerated instead of braking on Moorefield Park Drive after hitting a median strip about 3pm on Monday.
Her vehicle, which had four passengers, drove off a ledge outside The Leap Centre and crashed into the building.
The red Ford Territory crashed into an area where a staff member normally sits, but the woman was in a different position.
She received cuts to her arm and was taken to hospital by paramedics for treatment.
Everyone in the Ford managed to free themselves from the vehicle unhurt.
Acting Sergeant Mark Paynter said it was lucky no-one was seriously injured.
He urged drivers to be vigilant on the road.
The driver is expected to face court at a later date.
The building will undergo a structural assessment to determine the extent of the damage.
