If there's one thing Bandits US import Ken-Jah Bosley took away from his first NBL1 game, it's the physicality of the competition.

The point guard received a taste of what to expect during the Bandits round one win against Waverley on Sunday.
"The physicality here is just insane," Bosley said.
"There's some big boys down there.
"You go down the lane and they'll chip you up and you've got to get back up and keep playing.
"It's a good thing I played football back in the States."
Bosley starred for the Bandits in their season opener, but said he still had room for improvement moving forward.
"I'm happy that we won, whether I scored five or 25," Bosley said.
"It's a learning curve for me still right now, being a point guard and trying to learn to control the game a little bit more.
"There's some things that I could clean up for myself that would make us even better.
"It's way better learning off of a win than a loss."
The Bandits are now preparing to take on Ringwood for their first home game of the season.
The two sides will have somewhat of an understanding of each others rosters, having met in Bendigo during pre-season.
"They're a real veteran team, one of those groups that has been together for a while," Bandits coach Brad Chalmers said.
"I expect them to be tough, so we'll have to play well this weekend to get a win.
"In saying that, we should win at home."
With Mitch Newton out of the side injured, the Bandits are looking to bring another high calibre player into the squad for the season.
"We're working really hard with that now," Chalmers said.
"We've had some positive discussions with a few guys over the last week, which has been great.
"We're looking to make it happen as soon as we possibly can."
Chalmers said the side have no other injury concerns at this stage of the season.
Derrick Scott and Josh McKay are notable mentions for their performance in the Bandits first round win, while the side will be looking to improve on capitalizing scoring opportunities in the coming games.
The Bandits home game against Ringwood will kickoff at 8pm on Saturday.
