The Bandits are gearing up for all four of their youth league and senior teams to take to the court this weekend, with the youth teams set to get the ball rolling at 2pm.

They'll be followed by the women and men's teams, who will open their home seasons after both securing round one wins against Waverley last weekend.

Bandits club president Steve Wright said he was expecting a huge turnout for the big Saturday of basketball action.

"Being a home opener, it's going to be a massive night," Wright said.

"The youth league program is something new for us.

"It's going to be great to have four games back to back and to hopefully give these young players the chance to play in front of a big crowd.

"The fact that both of our senior teams won last week and our youth men's have won four out of four so far, we couldn't ask for a better start really.

"The excitement around the whole club has been incredible.

"It's been a massive off-season for us and there's a whole lot of hype around the whole club at the moment.

"We encourage people to get there as early as they can because there's every chance this game could sell out.

"Which would be incredible."

The Bandits men and women's teams are set for a showdown with the Ringwood Hawks for round two of the NBL1 competition.

Both home teams will be looking to keep their winning form rolling, while it will mark the first home game for Lauren Jackson as Bandits coach.

New player Nat Hurst will again look to play an integral role in the Bandits line-up, while Emma Mahady will hope for another good hit-out after 17 points and seven rebounds last game.

Import Ken-Jah Bosley made the most impact on the scoreboard for the men last weekend, with 25 points and eight rebounds.

He was followed by fellow US import Torren Jones, who wrapped up 22 points and 15 rebounds in his first game for the Bandits.

Ringwood will also be heading into the clashes with good form, after securing first round wins against the Basketball Australia's Centre of Excellence at home.

The Bandits youth league men's team will be hungry to continue their run at a perfect season, after a convincing 79-47 round four win over Macarther, while the girls brace for their second game.

The Bandits women's side will get their game underway at 6pm, while the men will take to the court at 8pm.
