Canadian company Saputo, which bought the twin towns' dairy plant from Murray Goulburn, presented a ceremonial cheque to the Kiewa-Sandy Creek Netball Club on Thursday afternoon.
The cash has gone towards the construction of two netball courts at Coulston Park which were used for the first time when the opening round of the Tallangatta league competition was held last weekend.
Overall, $160,000 has been spent, with that tally including $40,000 from Indigo Shire and the rest raised through the community and company benefactors including developers Nordcon and JMP, Enviro Culture Services and Arnold's Fruit Market.
Netball club treasurer Dawn Cardwell said previously there had been one court facing east west and the two new playing areas ran north-south to meet Netball Victoria requirements in relation to the sun's position.
She said town population growth had seen player numbers jump, but it had been hard to accommodate training sessions for seven grades with only one court.
Indigo Shire donated part of its industrial land to allow the courts to extend beyond the previous playing area.
Saputo Australia's Melbourne-based head of corporate responsibility Rita Marigliani presented the giant cheque to netball club president Di Kerr, with Indigo Shire mayor Bernard Gaffney also present.
