Numbers were marginally higher. It was a mixed quality yarding for trade and lighter weight lambs, with some trade weights dry and presenting long in the wool, however this did not deter buyers. The usual field of buyers attended and most were operating. Restocker activity increased significantly, while feedlot buyers dominated purchasing lambs weighing up to 28kg cwt. Domestic buyers competed strongly against each other in long bidding duels for the shorter skinned well shaped lambs, with prices generally $4 to $6/head dearer.
